Schedule A – Conditions of Rental
- We prefer no street shoes in the gym as they tend
to mark the floor. Gym shoes are
the safest to use.
- If you use dishes, please wash them according to
the posted Public Health guidelines.
Dishes should be rinsed, washed thoroughly, rinsed with bleach and
left on racks to air dry. Dish
soap and bleach can be found under the sink.
- Please do not leave uneaten food around the
building. There are garbage cans
in the main kitchen.
- Please pick up after your activity is
finished. If you have a lot of
crumbs, scraps etc. on the floor, please sweep or vacuum. Brooms and vacuums are located in the
janitors’ closet near the church office.
- Please place large amounts of waste material in
the garbage cans in the kitchen, sweepings may be left in the smaller
garbage cans throughout the building.
- Please remember that children need to be
supervised at all times. They
should not be allowed to roam freely throughout the church. This is disruptive to other groups
using the facilities and causes extra clean up work for our janitor.
- Please stay in the room or space that you were
assigned. If the space is not
adequate for your needs, contact the church office to make alternate
arrangements.
- Please check the washrooms before you leave to
ensure that toilets have been flushed, taps have been shut off and lights
are turned out. If you changed
the thermostat, please return it to the original setting.
- Church facilities and custodial staff have
supervisory authority.
- Facility will be available 15 minutes prior to
booked time for set up and 15 minutes
after for clean up, unless otherwise arranged with the church office.
- Limited storage space is available and MUST be
arranged through the church office.
